MUNICH (Germany) - The groups for the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Pre-Qualifiers Second Round are now set after the draw was conducted on Thursday.
Eight teams from the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 European Qualifiers had already been placed into pre-designated groups, leaving the four teams that qualified from the First Round of Pre-Qualifiers to be drawn.
Bulgaria joined Denmark and Romania in Group D; Slovakia are with Switzerland and Great Britain in Group E; North Macedonia will come up against Cyprus and Austria in Group F, and Norway have been paired with Belgium and Czechia.
The groups are as follows:

The Second Round of the Pre-Qualifiers will be played across three windows: August 2026, November 2026 and February 2027.
Four teams - the best ranked team in each group - will advance directly to the FIBA EuroBasket 2029 Qualifiers.
