JEDDAH (Saudi Arabia) - Jaylin Galloway deservingly earned TISSOT Most Valuable Player honors after helping Australia complete their 'three-peat' bid by conquering the FIBA Asia Cup 2025 in sweeping fashion.

Galloway headlined the All-Star Five, which also featured his teammate Jack McVeigh, the towering frontcourt tandem of Hu Jinqiu and Wang Junjie of China, and point guard Sina Vahedi of bronze medalists Iran.

Hu ended the tournament with figures of 16.2 points and 9.2 rebounds on an efficiency of 22.2.

The sweet-shooting Wang, for his part, tallied 13.0 points and 4.2 rebounds as he rose to the occasion come the Final Phase, most notably in the Quarter-Finals versus Korea where he fired 21 points and 7 rebounds.

Vahedi, lastly, served as the stabilizing presence for Team Melli that led to a bronze finish, which is the Iranians' first medal in the Asia Cup in eight years or since settling for silver during the 2017 games.

Also a member of the 2024 BCL Asia All-Star Five, the heady floor general registered 17.8 points, 2.7 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.0 steal to make his first-ever Asia Cup experience all the more memorable.
