Qualifiers Draw

The FIBA Asia Cup 2025 Qualifiers Draw took place in Doha, Qatar on Tuesday, September 19.

The results of the draw are as follows:

Group A: Thailand, Australia, Korea, Indonesia Group B: Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong, Philippines, New Zealand Group C: China, Guam, Japan, Indonesia Group D: Iraq, Jordan, Palestine, Saudi Arabia Group E: Iran, Kazakhstan, India, Qatar Group F: Bahrain, Syria, Lebanon, United Arab Emirates

Australia, New Zealand, Japan, Iran, Lebanon, and Jordan came in as the top-ranked sides based on their geographical locations and the FIBA World Ranking Men, presented by NIKE.

The 24 participating teams in the qualifying tournament were grouped in 8 pots of 3 teams, where the top seeds was to be planted in Pot 1 and Pot 5. Teams from EABA, SEABA, and the Oceania regions were in Pots 1-4. Teams from the GBA, WABA, CABA, and SABA, meanwhile, were in Pots 5-8.
