MUNICH (Germany) - The date and location for SuperCup Women 2025 have been revealed, with the showpiece event set to take place in Villeneuve d'Ascq, France on Wednesday, October 1.
The annual curtain-raiser ahead of the new club season will feature surprise EuroLeague Women winners ZVVZ USK Praha and EuroCup Women champions, Villeneuve d'Ascq LM
The game will be played at Le Palacium, with tip-off scheduled at 20:30 CET.
ZVVZ USK became the first ever winners of EuroLeague Women Final Six in Zaragoza, as they collected a second title exactly a decade after their maiden silverware.
The Czech giants will be hoping history repeats, since they followed up their EuroLeague Women success in 2015 by also landing the SuperCup Women trophy.
Meanwhile Villeneuve d'Ascq LM will want to follow up their impressive second EuroCup Women title last season by winning SuperCup Women for the first time. They will be hoping it will be a case of third time lucky after missing out in the 2015 and 2016 editions.
The game between the two clubs will mark the 14th edition of the competition, with eight clubs from six different countries having been crowned champions since its inception in 2009.
