MUNICH (Germany) - Ioanna Chatzileonti has been crowned MVP for November in recognition of her exceptional performances in propelling Panathinaikos A.C. into the Play-Off Round 1.
The Greek club will face KKZ Crvena Zvezda in a mouth-watering tie during the knockout phase and will be confident of progressing if Chatzileonti can continue her hot run of form.
She was a difference-maker during November, evidenced by her stellar performance efficiency valuation of 29.5. That came after the 23-year-old poured in 22.5 points per outing after shooting almost 60 percent from the field.
Chatzileonti also managed to harvest a super monthly double-double with an excellent 10.5 rebounds per game - as well as handing out 2.5 assists for good measure.
In her first game of the month, the Greek ace racked up her highest tally of the season as she dropped a majestic 29 points in a 94-87 shootout at home to Neptunas Amberton. She also put in some serious work on the glass to pull down 11 rebounds.
The second game witnessed Panathinaikos outlasting Nyon Basket Feminin 89-80 in another high-scoring and entertaining contest. Chatzileonti was the centerpiece again, this time adding what proved to be an essential 16 points and 10 boards.
She also showed her impressive court vision by dishing out 4 dimes to wrap up an eye-catching Regular Season.
