    The new 2025-26 season is here and it's time to lock in for another exciting roller-coaster ride.

    MUNICH (Germany) - Another gripping EuroCup Women campaign is almost ready to swing into action and with the recent Qualifiers now complete and the Regular Season field set, there's so much to look forward to. Here's everything you need to know ahead of the main phase of the competition tipping off.

    What is EuroCup Women?

    The second-tier competition after EuroLeague Women, it will once again showcase a rich and eclectic mix of clubs from across the continent. Many of the leading players not only in Europe, but also globally, will be taking to the floor, while EuroCup Women will also extend it's famed status of launching the careers of countless rising stars.

    The pan-European competition is renowned for providing plenty of entertainment, with fans also likely to revel in plenty of upsets and surprises along the way.

    Who are the reigning champions?

    Last season, it was French club Villeneuve d'Ascq LM who came out on top and won the silverware for a second time. Inspired by MVP Carla Leite, they had to work hard to end the incredible fairytale ride of Spanish outfit BAXI Ferrol who came all the way from the Qualifiers to make history and contest the Final.

    Recent winners include other French clubs such as LDLC ASVEL Feminin and Tango Bourges Basket, as well as Spanish side Valencia Basket. Meanwhile, Dynamo Moscow still remain the only club to have won the competition three times or more.

    Who is playing?

    There are 48 clubs participating in the Regular Season with five making it via the EuroCup Women Qualifiers, with another five dropping down from EuroLeague Women.

    When do the games take place?

    Games are typically played on Wednesday and Thursday throughout the season with the initial group games tipping off on the week commencing October 8 and will run until week commencing November 27.

    A total of 32 Regular Season teams will then progress to the post-season and compete in the Play-Offs. That is when race for silverware will pick up even more intensity as clubs vow to be the last team standing ahead of the distinguished trophy being handed out in April 2026.
