    MUNICH (Germany) - There was joy for three clubs on Wednesday night as Charnay Basket, Castors Braine and UFAB49 received confirmation they would be heading to the post-season and lining up in the Play-Off Round 1.

    There are still also 13 more Regular Season games to be played on Thursday November 27 when the last available spots for the knockout phase will be filled.

    Bitter-sweet for Charnay; relief for UFAB49

    Charnay Basket played out an 89-87 overtime epic with BOA Besiktas in Istanbul, but despite being edged out the French side still managed to advance.

    It was Sami Whitcomb and Migna Toure who got it done for the hosts by netting 20 points apiece. Shakayla Thomas lit it up in defeat with 17 points, 10 rebounds and 6 steals.

    UFAB 49 fans were left chewing their finger nails for the closing minutes of their team's matchup with Piestanske Cajky, but ended up on their feet in applause after a 64-61 success. Hitting a drought in crunch time, the home team clung on for a precious victory. It was facilitated by a shared 30 points from Ann Ngo Ndjock and Madison Williams, while rising star Lin Schwarz was unlucky to have lost the game after racking up 17 points and 13 boards.

    Castors Braine breezed into the post-season with a one-sided 110-43 victory against WBC Tresnjevka Dinamo LTD. On the front foot from the tip-off after a 31-13 opening, the Belgian club never had cause to look back. Gergana Ivanova netted 22 points, while Alicia Courthiau dropped 20 points. De Yona Gaston also went to work in the paint and amassed 14 points and 10 rebounds.

    Elsewhere, Perfumeras Avenida finished on a high and with a 5-1 record after seeing off Neptunas-Amberton 79-48, with NKA Universitas Pecs moving to a perfect 6-0 after beating Sportiva Azoris Hotels 97-59.
