    The third week of action continued the season theme of amazing performances and dramatic endings.

    MUNICH (Germany) - There was a scoring frenzy on Thursday night as Nyon Basket Feminin claimed a famous win at Panathinaikos A.C. despite home star Feyonda Fitzgerald dropping an amazing 44 points. There was also a high-scoring clash in the Portuguese capital as SL Benfica were undone in overtime by SBS Ostrava. That overtime tension was also in evidence in Belgium where it was also the visitors who emerged victorious as UZKK Student edged out Namur Capitale.

    Fitzgerald fire can't extinguish Nyon; Ostrava and Uzkk take OT wins

    There was an extraordinary win for Nyon Basket Feminin who took a sensational 113-100 win at Panathinaikos A.C. despite a staggering 44 points from home court favorite Feyonda Fitzgerald. Nyon had their own duo on absolute fire, with Frida Formann scoring 30 points and Keira Robinson inking a superb 25 points, 16 rebounds and 7 assists.

    SBS Ostrava were down by 13 points at SL Benfica but came roaring back to finish winning 85-81 in overtime. It was a statement victory for the Czech club who had to come through the Qualifiers. Iva Belosevic was the hero with a wonderful 20 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists.

    UZKK Student came away from Basket Namur Capitale with a memorable 80-77 overtime victory after 20 points, 7 rebounds, 6 assists and 3 steals from Hristina Marjanovic. Nevena Vuckovic also lit it up with 21 points and 10 boards.

    Elsewhere, Sarah Cisse was at the heart of BLMA tearing down ZKK Ragusa 100-54 in Croatia. The youngster had a crazy good shooting night with 11 of 13 dropping as she harvested 28 points, also adding 8 rebounds for good measure.

    Alexis Peterson delivered a flawless shooting effort for holders Villeneuve d'Ascq LM as they beat Beroe Stara Zagora 93-61. The guard was unstoppable and finished with 17 points, as well as 4 steals and 3 assists.

    Besiktas BOA had a change of fortune as they went from winning in Week 2 to losing 67-59 at Charnay Basket. Shakayla Thomas did the business with 22 points and 10 boards for the victorious French side.

    In contrast, Athinaikos Qualco bounced back from their heartbreak loss to Besiktas last time out. They relied on a huge 31 points and 13 rebounds from Alexis Prince to cut down KSSSE ENEA AZS AJP Gorzow 79-56.
