    Luka ends up as World Cup 2023 top scorer. Check the race from start to finish

    MANILA/OKINAWA/JAKARTA (Philippines/Japan/Indonesia) - It was an exciting FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 with so many of the best players in the world trying their best to will their way to get the Naismith Trophy.

    You saw it in the eyes of their talented stars and in the way they kept scoring to will their teams to victory.

     

     

    In the end, it was Luka Doncic who emerged as the player that accumulated the most amount of points in total. Throughout the entire competition, Slovenia's superstar scored 216 points to join a prestigious group of players that scored at least 200 points in a single World Cup. It was also the second-highest amount of point scored in a World Cup in the 21st century, behind only Luis Scola's 244 points in 2010.
