Group F ready to open Second Round

    MIES (Switzerland) - Group F is all set to begin Window 4 of the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers as lineups of the teams seeing action on Thursday, August 27, have been confirmed.

    The window ahead marks the commencement of the Second Round, beginning with a meeting between 2027 World Cup hosts Qatar (4-2) and long-time powerhouse China (3-3) at the Al-Janoub Stadium in Al Wakrah.

    One of the signature venues of the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the architectural wonder will host basketball for the first time following its transformation into an enclosed, dedicated 8,200-seater basketball arena.
