DEBRECEN (Hungary) - The rosters of the 16 participating teams at the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2021 have been confirmed ahead of the top global youth event.

With the 14th edition of the competition tipping off on Saturday, August 7 in the Hungarian city of Debrecen, all rosters have now been trimmed to 12 players.

Group Phase action will take place on August 7-10, with each team playing against all other teams in their group. All teams will advance to the Final Phase, with Group A crossing with Group B; and Group C crossing over with Group D in the Round of 16 on August 11.

This comes before the Final Phase, where teams will either enter the Quarter-Finals or fall into the  9-16 Classification. The 2021 champion will be crowned on August 15.

No team has won the competition more times than USA, who have eight titles to their name and are the the reigning champions after recapturing their crown in Bangkok two years ago as the American's lone tournament loss came against Russia in the 2017 Final in Udine.
