Clutch Guam Collaboration

MANGILAO (Guam) – Oceania and Clutch Guam have teamed up for the FIBA Micronesian Cup 2022 to share all the on and off court action across social media.

Known for their digital story telling in Guam, Clutch Guam have a passion for basketball that they are eager to showcase at the inaugural FIBA event.

Executive Director – Oceania, Amanda Jenkins said that this collaboration will allow fans locally and internationally, the ability to connect and follow the event.

“We are always looking for new ways to innovate our event experience for local and international basketball audiences,” Jenkins said.  “Clutch Guam will be able to provide quality photography and daily video summaries of all the FIBA Micronesian Cup 2022 action.

“As a qualifying event for the 2023 Pacific Games, we really want to share the journey of Oceania National Federations as they chase the dream of FIBA World Cup Qualification.  We are excited to have the Clutch Guam team join our FIBA family to share the story of basketball in Oceania.”

Clutch Guam Founder, Dom Sablan, is equally thrilled to have the Clutch Guam covering all things digital at the FIBA Micronesian Cup 2022.

“We are stoked to be working with the team from Oceania at the FIBA Micronesian Cup 2022,” Sablan said.  “We are super passionate about basketball here in Guam and the ability to share our passion through regional basketball events like this is huge.”

The FIBA Micronesian Cup 2022 will feature national teams from across Micronesia, with 16 games to be played in four days from June 8 to 11 in Mangilao, Guam.

This will be the first time the FIBA Micronesian Cup has been held as a standalone event with Guam the reigning Men’s and Women’s Micronesia Games Champions.  The top team will qualify for the 2023 Pacific Games.
