Permutations: What teams need to do to clinch qualification this weekend
MUNICH (Germany) - With the first games of the second window of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers now in the books, it's time to check out the latest permutations as the race towards the Final Round continues.

Slovenia could potentially take their place at the Final Round next year if they beat Greece and Bulgaria lose to Iceland.
While it has no immediate implications in terms of early qualification, the head-to-head point differential between Slovenia and Greece could play a big role eventually in determining the group winner if Greece do grab the win.

This scenario would see Bosnia and Herzegovina guarantee the top spot, leaving the other teams to fight for qualification via the runner-up route.

Czech Republic could secure a place at the Final Round if they go 4-0 with a win against Italy on Sunday - but only if Denmark cause an upset by beating Romania.
While not in a position to qualify themselves, Italy will have their sights set on stopping the Czech winning streak and potentially overturning the double-digit deficit from their first head-to-head meeting, as two leading Group D teams jockey for the top spot.

Who could punch their ticket already?
Hoping to make it to the Final Round after missing the last two editions of the event, Croatia will not be able to formalize their plans even if they beat Latvia to go 4-0. That's because Germany have inserted themselves into the conversation for the group crown with a win against Latvia, regardless of how the game against North Macedonia goes.
