Hereiti Salem posted 18 points, three rebounds, and three steals to spearhead Tahiti's' fourth win in a row dating back from a clean sweep in the Group B play.
 
Tearere Richmond and Hauhere Ching-Bellais ably aided Salem with 11 and 10 marker support for Tahiti which launched a 32-16 halftime spree that paved the way in this one-sided 38-point victory.
 
Tahiti thus arranged a Final Four clash with defending champion Australia. Samoa and New Zealand, meanwhile, play in the other semis pairing.
 
No player managed to score double figures for winless Guam with Kristen Silva settling for 9 markers.

Good thing for Guam, it still has a golden chance to register a breakthrough win when it collides with host New Caledonia in the battle for fifth place.

Samoa beats New Caledonia 60-41

Samoa ended the host New Caledonia's good run with a 60-41 quarterfinal win to advance to the Final Four of the 2019 FIBA U17 Oceania Championship women's division.
 
Nive Lale registered a near-perfect 7-of-8 clip to finish with 14 points, two assists, a rebound, a steal, and a block to lead the way for the Samoans.
 
Kalista Niu keyed in 12 markers while Shaylee Coulter-Faamafu and Jana Taufua piled up 8 apiece in Samoa's huge win.
 
Samoa thus arranged an epic semis duel with New Zealand.
 
Home team New Caledonia, on the other hand, was relegated to the battle for fifth place against Guam.
 
After a great run in the preliminary round that saw them finish at second place in Group B, New Caledonia fell short this time as no other player barged into twin-digit scoring.

Papua New Guinea beats New Caledonia, 59-58

Magdalene Javapro sank a go-ahead triple in the waning seconds to push Papua New Guinea to seal a 7th place finish with a 59-58 win in the 2019 FIBA U17 Oceania Championship women's division.
 
With the game knotted in the last 51 seconds, Javapro took matters into her own hands, drilling the game-winner as PNG just forced muffed possession after muffed possession of Cook Island to secure the thrilling match.
 
Javapro logged in a tournament-high of 42 points, more than half of PNG's total output, while also adding 12 rebounds, 3 assists and 2 steals for an all-around effort.
 
Alice Kaiawa supported her with 9 markers.
 
The Cook Islands, on the other hand, settled for 8th place finish last Tikara Jallow missed on a potential game-winning triple at the buzzer.
 
Jallow paced the squad with 14 points and 12 rebounds. Hoana-Rose Solomon also came up with 14 point-17 rebound double-double outing while Breana Schmid put up 12 in a losing cause.
