BEIJING (2015 FIBA U19 World Championship) - The center combination of Hu Jinqiu and Fu Hao will get the chance to shine for China at the 2015 FIBA U19 World Championship with Zhou Qi not available for the tournament.

Hu and Fu - who will both turn 18 later this summer - are expected to be two of the main leaders on China's final roster at the FIBA U19 Worlds after staring for China at the 2014 FIBA U17 World Championship.

The 2.10m Hu averaged 17.3 points, 12.3 rebounds, 1.4 steals and 1.3 blocks, while the 2.05m Fu added 16.3 points, 7.6 rebounds and 1.7 assists.

Both big men will be a much larger part of the Chinese game plan at the U19 Worlds with Zhou out of the tournament taking place in Heraklion (Crete), Greece from 27 June-5 July.

Zhou is currently training with the senior national team and is expected to play at the 2015 FIBA Asia Championship in Changsha, China from 23 September-3 October.

At last summer's FIBA Asia U18 Championship, the 2.17m big man averaged 13.1 points, 6.9 rebounds and 2.7 blocks in less than 19 minutes a game. He also played for the senior team at the 2014 FIBA Asia Cup, collecting 8.9 points, 6.1 rebounds and 2.4 blocks a game.

Also missing from China's team headed to the U19 Worlds is Zou Yuchen, the leading rebounder and second leading scorer for China at the 2014 FIBA Asia U18s. The 1.97m forward excelled this past season with the Bayi Rockets, averaging 14.0 points, 9.6 rebounds and 2.1 blocks per game. Zou too is in the running for the senior national team.

China's other two centers bound for Heraklion will be Shao Yinglun and Zeng Fanri. The former played last summer at the Asia U18s and averaged 7.4 points, 7.0 rebounds and 2.1 assists, while Zeng is set to make his China debut.

All told, seven of China's players appeared at the 2014 FIBA Asia U18 Championship, including leading scorer and number two assist man Zhao Rui and leading playmaker and steal leader Sun Minghui

In addition to Fu and Hu, Zhao Yanhao will be another Chinese leader who played last summer at the U17 Worlds, leading the team in scoring and steals while shooting 39 percent from three-point range.
