Bulgaria and Finland set Final showdown, seal promotion to Division A
PRISHTINA (Kosovo) - Bulgaria and Finland will contest the FIBA U20 Women's European Championship 2019, Division B Final with both also securing their goal of promotion in the process.
Bulgaria were first to clinch their spot in Division A next summer after they overcame Ireland in a 68-58 victory behind 18 points from Denitsa Petrova.
Having trailed 21-14 at the end of the first quarter, Ireland were unable to mount a comeback despite an impressive display from Claire Melia, who posted 22 points and 15 rebounds.

Lotta-maj Lahtinen fired in 25 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists to help propel Finland to an 82-68 success over Great Britain to maintain their perfect record.
The Finns exploded for 32 points in a pivotal third period and also had a 17-point, 10-rebound double-double from Awak Kuier, who also added 3 blocks.
Ireland and Great Britain will meet for the second time in the tournament as they battle for the final step on the podium and the chance to join Finland and Bulgaria in Division A.
