MUNICH (Germany) - FIBA launched the official EuroBasket 2022 mobile app, presented by Global FIBA Partner Tissot, on Tuesday, with the calendar marking exactly six months to the start of the continent’s flagship basketball event.

The official mobile app is the essential companion to FIBA EuroBasket 2022. It not only provides all necessary information on the big event in easily accessible fashion, but it also allows users to customize their experience by selecting up to three teams and as many as 10 players to follow throughout the tournament.

The 2022 edition of the competition gets underway in four European cities - Cologne, Prague, Milano and Tbilisi - on September 1, and the new EuroBasket champion is set to be crowned in the German capital Berlin on September 18.

Fans will be able to use the official app to take in every second of the action in Czech Republic, Georgia, Germany and Italy, as it features individual game stats, highlights and daily top plays.

Live scores, group standings and tournament stats will be available at a glance, so that users can keep up to date with the competition every step of the way, while gaining further insight into the tournament by accessing all the latest news stories and alerts.

The app - which was originally released just prior to the start of FIBA EuroBasket 2017 - is available on both iOS and Android devices and is free to download.
