Montenegro v Bosnia and Herzegovina
Time: Wednesday, August 24 - 19:00 CET
Venue: Moraca Sports Centre, Podgorica
Montenegro enter the Group K game at home in Podgorica with a 4-2 record behind the 5-1 duo of France and Lithuania. Bosnia and Herzegovina sit one game behind at 3-3 in fifth place with Czech Republic also at 3-3. Montenegro could desperately use a home victory to keep the fellow Balkan side behind them.
Spain v Iceland
Time: Wednesday, August 24 - 21:00 CET
Venue: Arena of CB Navarra, Pamplona
Both teams are 3-1 in Group L going into the game in Pamplona and tied with Italy. Spain still have two battles against Italy to come and Sergio Scariolo’s team cannot afford a loss against an up-start Iceland team that knocked off Italy in the First Round.
Finland v Israel
Time: Thursday, August 25 - 17:30 CET
Venue: Nokia Arena, Tampere
Finland sit tied in first place in Group J with Germany at 5-1 while European champions Slovenia lurk at 4-2. One game further back is Israel, who are 3-3 and will welcome Deni Avdija for the window. But the Israelis will face a major challenge against the Wolfpack’s great fans in Tampere.
Latvia v Turkey
Time: Thursday, August 25 - 18:30 CET
Venue: Arena Riga, Riga
Latvia welcome Kristaps Porzingis back to the national team in a massively important home game against Turkey, who have their NBA trio of Cedi Osman, Furkan Korkmaz and Alperen Sengun back in the mix. Latvia have a 3-1 mark going into the game while Turkey enter the Second Round at 2-2.
Serbia v Greece
Time: Thursday, August 25 - 20:00 CET
Venue: Belgrade Arena, Belgrade
Sure it is the battle of two back-to-back NBA MVPs returning to their respective national teams - Nikola Jokic for Serbia and Giannis Antetokounmpo for Greece - but the Group I game is almost a must-win for Serbia. Svetislav Pesic's team is 1-3 and even with Great Britain and behind the duo of Turkey and Belgium at 2-2 while Greece and Latvia are 3-1. Serbia face an uphill battle to qualify for the FIBA World Cup 2023 and a win over Greece would be a great start to a turnaround.
Germany v Slovenia
Time: Sunday, August 28 - 15:00 CET
Venue: Audi Dome, Munich
First place in Group J after Window 4 could be up for grabs in this game as Germany were 5-1 going into their game at Sweden and Slovenia were 4-2 ahead of their game at Estonia. Finland were also 5-1 when the Second Round started. In addition to a battle of teams with high expectations of reaching the FIBA World Cup 2023, this game comes just more than a week before Germany and Slovenia will face off in the FIBA EuroBasket 2022 First Round - in Cologne on September 6.
Turkey v Serbia
Time: Sunday, August 28 - 19:00 CET
Venue: Sinan Erdem Arena, Istanbul
Every game for Serbia in the Second Round could be considered a must-win and this one even more should they lose at home to Greece in the first game of the window and fall to 1-4. Serbia would love to at the very least get a tiebreaker over Turkey, who had a 2-2 record coming into the window and their opening Second Round game at Latvia.
