Tickets flying for Japan's second window game with Chinese Taipei

YOKOHAMA (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 Asian Qualifiers) - Judging by how fast tickets are selling, Japan will play in front of a sold out Yokohama International Arena on 22 February 2018.

According to the Japan Basketball Association (JBA), the first pre-selling phase sold out shortly after opening and the second pre-selling phase today was sold out in around 5 minutes.

General sales of the remaining tickets will commence on 13 January.

Japan played at a sold out Komazawa Olympic Park Gymnasium in their first game last November against the Philippines, and it seems like they will do so once again in Yokohama against Chinese Taipei. After that, they fly to Manila to face the Philippines once more.

Japan are currently sporting a 0-2 win-loss record and are entering the second window needing to win at least one game to stay alive for a spot in the second round of the Asian Qualifiers.
