Angola resume preparations for third window of World Cup Qualifiers with 20 players
LUANDA (FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 African Qualifiers) - The Angolan Basketball Federation (FAB) on Friday announced a 20-man preliminary squad to resume their preparations for this month's FIBA Basketball World Cup 2019 African Qualifiers in Egypt.
The announcement comes two weeks after FAB named a 12-man provisional squad who worked under assistant coach Jose Carlos Guimaraes.
Now that most players have finished their clubs commitments, Angola added some members from that provisional squad to the twenty pre-selected players to attend a team meeting on Saturday, June 9, and resume their preparations in Luanda.
