BEIRUT (Lebanon) - Tickets for the FIBA Asia Cup 2022 are officially on sale to the general public, marking another important step forward towards the event later this year.

The opportunity to witness the best national teams and players at the flagship event in Asia and Oceania and be a part of the competition for the first time in Indonesia since 1993 is now.

All 36 games will be held in Jakarta, Indonesia from July 12-24.

The schedule was recently confirmed with 100 days left to tip-off with Asia Cup defending champions Australia facing Jordan and hosts Indonesia going up against Saudi Arabia on opening day.

The Final Phase begins on Monday, July 18 where the event will eventually reach its climax on Sunday, July 24 with the Third-Place game and Final scheduled on this date.

FIBA Regional Office - Asia Executive Director, Mr. Hagop Khajirian said: “We’re more than happy to have reached this milestone with just under 100 days to go to tip-off the region’s premier basketball event. The FIBA Asia Cup 022 is a great spectacle and securing tickets will be a great opportunity for fans to witness their favorite players and teams in action right in front of their very eyes.”

"The ticket launch shows that Indonesia will again be ready to write history on the international basketball stage, notably Asia.
