Today's FIBA Asia Champions Cup Games: Wednesday 12 October

CHENZHOU (FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2016) - Here are the four games to look forward to on the last day of group play at the FIBA Asia Champions Cup 2016 in Chenzhou-Hunan, China.

Barsy Atyrau v Al Shorta

Barsy Atyrau take on Al Shorta with the winner finishing as Group B’s third place club and the loser finishing as the group’s fourth seed. The Kazakhs are riding high on their big win over Malaysia yesterday, while Al Shorta are smarting from their loss to UAE’s Al Ahli.

Pauian v ONGC

ONGC still have a very small chance to advance to the Quarter-Finals, but they will need to utterly blow out Pauian for that possibility to become reality. That’ll be easier said than done, though, given how well Pauian’s locals are playing and how dominant Quincy Davis has been.

Al Riyadi v Petrochimi

In what should be an instant classic, two of the most popular and highly decorated clubs in West Asia are headed for a titanic tussle. Rising star Wael Arakji is expected to lead the Lebanese against an Iranian team that will rely on their own young guns in Mohammad Hassanzadeh and Behnam Yakhchali.

China Kashgar v Malaysia Dragons

China return to action against lowly Malaysia, who are not expected to put up much of a resistance against the heavily favored home team. Imports Andray Blatche and Darius Adams may even play sparingly given how big and how deep China Kashgar are.
