COLORADO SPRINGS (USA) - Having won the last two FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup titles, USA have announced the 12 players who will try to make it three in a row at the 2023 edition in Madrid.

The reigning champions announced their list having successfully held trials with a 22-strong list of candidates and will no doubt still be the team to beat.

Most notably, Madison Booker, Jadyn Donovan and Hannah Hidalgo captured gold for the USA at the FIBA U17 Women’s Basketball World Cup 2022

USA roster for the FIBA U19 Women's Basketball World Cup 2023

Madison Booker Aalyah Del Rosario Jadyn Donovan Joyce Edwards
Hannah Hidalgo Londynn Jones Chloe Kitts Talana Lepolo
Cotie McMahon Kiki Rice Grace Van Sloote Allie Ziebell

Most recently, Booker, Donovan and Hidalgo were joined by Aalyah Del Rosario on the inaugural USA women’s team at the 2023 Nike Hoop Summit when the USA defeated the World Team, 100-79.

Meanwhile last year, Del Rosario was joined by Londynn Jones, Chloe Kitts, Cotie McMahon, Kiki Rice and Grace Van Slooten in helping the USA to go 10 in a row at the FIBA U18 Women’s Americas Championship

But will the USA have enough to get the job done, complete the three-peat and make it 10 titles in total?
