On hand for this special event were: Maksim Ryzhenkov, President of the Belarusian Basketball Federation; Igor Urkevich, Deputy Chairman of Minsk City Executive Committee; and representatives of the participating teams, including that of the host nation.
They were joined by former national team players Tatiana Ivinskay Beloshapko and Tatsiana Troina, who lent a hand in carrying out the draw.
The FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup 2018 will take place at Minsk's Sport Palace and Falcon Club, from July 21-29.
