China prepare for life without Li

China will have to do something special to cover for the absence of the phenomenal Li, who conjured up a wonderful 22.1 points and 16.1 boards per game last year in Medan as they rode their way to the title.

It means a strong onus will now be on Lingge Zhang who also amassed a tournament double-double in Indonesia.
In the backcourt, Jiaqi Wang and Shan Li will be expected to shine.
China wrapped up their preparations by sealing an impressive 60-46 success against an U18 Slovenia team, having previously been beaten 67-64 in and earlier meeting against the same opponents.
