HONIARA (Solomon Islands) - Cook Islands go two for two at the Pacific Games 3x3 Competition heading into day three.

Leaving the 2019 Pacific Games with a silver medal, Cook Islands are on a mission to go one better, defeating defending champions, Fiji, 21-6.

“It’s a really strong competition which is great, we thought we had a tough pool, we got two wins under our belt which we are feeling really good about,”

“Finding some height would be good for us … but we have been working on our fitness to make sure we can last.  In 2019, our legs gave out towards the end, and that’s probably why we ended up with silver.”

Tahiti and New Caledonia are both undefeated in Pool A are they shape up for their group match tomorrow.
