    Gameday 6 Top Performers: Steinberga, Anderson, Fiebich, Goree, Seilund

    MUNICH (Germany) - There were some spectacular individual performances on the last day of the Qualifiers, including a record-breaking display for Anete Steinberga of Latvia.

    MUNICH (Germany) - There were some spectacular individual performances on the last day of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2023 Qualifiers, including a record-breaking display for Anete Steinberga of Latvia.

    The center was crowned the joint Top Performer of Gameday 6, but it was about a lot more than that as Steinberga scored the highest ever points tally by a Latvian female player. Her spectacular 37 points in a 71-65 win in Sweden. Also pulling down 9 boards, her landmark display took place in front of a record 9,500 crowd inside the Avicii Arena in Stockholm.

    Also amassing a stellar performance efficiency valuation of 38, Serbia's playmaker Yvonne Anderson hit top gear in a comfortable 102-76 victory in Bulgaria. She was sensational and completed a double-double of 29 points and 10 assists, as well as snapping up 3 steals.

    Germany made a return to Final Round for the first time in more than a decade and there was a sense of deja vu as Leonie Fiebich torched Bosnia and Herzegovina once again. She was too hot to handle and sent her team through with a dynamic 30 points,. 7 rebounds and 4 assists.

    Cyesha Goree made it a night to remember for Hungary as they celebrated taking a spot for this year's main event as they eased past Romania 74-58.  The center went to work with a brilliant 19 points and 14 boards to make sure her team were not on the wrong end of an upset.

    Finally, while underdogs Denmark couldn't punch their ticket, they did claim an eye-catching win at the already qualified Montenegro. They inked a memorable 84-81 overtime win on their travels, with Anna Seilund showing out after netting 31 points, as well as 4 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 steals.
