Unstoppable in the 79-69 triumph against Slovakia, Guelich ensured that Germany made the Quarter-Finals for the first time since 1997. She was on fire and accumulated a performance efficiency valuation of 33 after scoring 26 points, shooting 73 percent from the field and also adding 9 rebounds and 4 assists.
She is joined in the lineup by her teammate Leonie Fiebich who also posted an eye-catching effort in the contest. Not even born the last time Germany made the last eight of the competition, she went to work with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists.
Petra Holesinska of Czech Republic is also looking forward to stepping out in the Quarter-Finals after leading her side past Greece in a 79-76 nail-biter in Tel Aviv.
