Ukraine ace Iagupova takes Top Performer honor with majestic triple-double

MUNICH (Germany) - The start of the second FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 Qualifiers window witnessed Ukraine leader Alina Iagupova snatch up the Top Performer honor with a stellar individual performance in Gameday 3.
The do-it-all star was unstoppable as Ukraine breezed past Finland 84-68, eventually finishing the contest with a super triple-double. Attaining an efficiency valuation of 34, Iagupova amassed 22 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists.
Iagupova is joined on the Team of the Gameday by other leading performers, including Marica Gajic, who ensured Bosnia and Herzegovina stayed perfect by way of a convincing 92-54 success against Estonia. She was hugely influential in the paint and accumulated a mammoth statline of 21 points, 19 rebounds and 6 steals.
Another player who went to some serious work under the basket was Maria Fasoula of Greece. She put in a powerful performance of 21 points and 11 rebounds to guide her side past Bulgaria 73-66.
Slovakia got their first win of the campaign as they came from behind to take down Netherlands 84-64 thanks mainly to some excellent all around work from Sabina Oroszova. She was the central figure in the contest after racking up 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 3 steals.
Finally, having posted the highest assists tally of the Qualifiers, Lenka Bartakova of Czech Republic rounds out the selection. The guard caught fire in a n 84-64 win against Denmark, finishing the contest with a terrific 17 points, 11 assists and 7 rebounds.
