It was very much bitter-sweet for Bosnia and Herzegovina duo Marica Gajic and Jonquel Jones who were both outstanding individually, but couldn't prevent their team falling 91-81 in an absorbing contest against Balkan rivals Slovenia.
Gajic was immense shooting-wise and made an incredible 10 of 11 from the floor for 28 points, also completing a double-double with 11 rebounds and adding 3 assists for an eye-popping efficiency rating of 37. Her frontcourt partner Jones also claimed a double-double, finishing with 24 points, 10 rebounds, 3 assists and 3 blocks.
Croatia got their first win of the competition to move to the Qualification To The Quarter-Finals, with Ivana Dojkic lighting it up in the 84-56 success against Czech Republic. It was Croatia's biggest ever win since they first competed in 1995 and the guard led the way with a brilliant 24 points, 7 assists, 5 rebounds and 3 steals.
Serbia moved directly to the Quarter-Finals after topping their group with an 87-75 derby victory against Montenegro which was founded on center Tina Krajisnik. She was on fire and went 9 of 11 from the field for 20 points, as well as pulling down 9 rebounds.
Finally, Belarus are also into the Quarter-Finals and they had mainly Alexandria Bentley to thank for helping them breeze past Sweden 78-54. The guard claimed 20 points, 5 assists and 4 steals.
