MUNICH (Germany) - The official mascot of the FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 was unveiled digitally by FIBA Europe on Tuesday.
Known as Lola, the curly-haired girl will be the ambassador for the 38th edition of Europe's flagship women's basketball event, set to take place in France and Spain next year.
She has all the moves and is ready to play – whether it's a crossover, a between the legs dribble or a wrap-around pass, nothing gets past Lola.
Her energy, speed and agility make her the queen of the court, and while she may be cute, her strength is in her moves and she's ready to show it.
Lola was designed by Slovenian agency Zadrga.
The FIBA Women's EuroBasket 2021 will take place from June 17-27, 2021. The Group Phase and corresponding Quarter-Finals will take place in Strasbourg, France and Valencia, Spain.
