Senegal set to resume preparations in France with Traore on board

After spending part of her summer practicing in the U.S, Traore has integrated a 16-player preliminary squad that is expected to travel to France on Thursday, where they will resume their World Cup preparations.

According to the local media, the runners-up of the FIBA Women's AfroBasket 2017 will receive the country's flag from the Ministry of Sports before jetting off to France.
Senegal will play World Champions the U.S, China, and Latvia in the Group Phase.
"These are very athletic teams that know how to run and shoot. We have prepared against teams of the similar caliber," Senegal head coach Cheikh Sarr noted.
The 16-nation showpiece will take place in Tenerife, Spain, from September 22-30.
