    Brazil v Lithuania

The tournament hosts take on a European power, Lithuania, in a vital game for both teams. Group B is balanced and every win will be precious for those seeking a top-four place.

    Croatia v Spain

Croatia will attempt to build on their FIBA Olympic Qualifying Tournament success in Turin against the No. 2 team in the FIBA World Ranking, Spain. Juan Carlos Navarro is set to play in his fifth Olympics with the Spaniards. Only four others in international basketball have played at five Summer Games.

    Nigeria v Argentina

AfroBasket 2015 champions Nigeria trade blows with Argentina, a team that has gotten a lift from the return of Carlos Delfino. The South Americans and Nigerians know each other well because they played twice in the build-up to Rio, each winning once.
