RIO DE JANEIRO (Rio 2016 Olympics) - Tony Parker shot France to a 76-75 victory over Serbia with a late jumper at the Carioca Arena 1.

Having scored just 4 points through the first 39 minutes and 29 seconds of the game, Parker buried the go-ahead basket with 31 seconds left to play and Bogdan Bogdanovic attempted to win for Serbia with a long three-pointer but his attempt rattled out.

Les Bleus, after an opening day defeat to Australia, have now won two straight while Serbia have fallen to 1-2.

Turning Point: With 3:25 remaining, Serbia led 75-70 after a pair of Stefan Markovic free-throws but failed to score again. Parker was on the money with just his fifth shot attempt of the game.

Stats Don't Lie: Nando de Colo continues to supply scoring for France. He had a game-high 22 points.

Hero: Boris Diaw had a terrific all-round game and really got stuck into battle in the fourth quarter. He finished with 11 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists.

Bottom Line: France are now riding a two-game winning streak and getting the feel-good factor back while Serbia have a lot of work to do if they are going to advance to the Quarter-Finals.
