• Due to the games being played in October which is internationally recognised as the month for breast cancer awareness, the logo contains “pink colour” on the thread of the basketball to promote breast cancer awareness and education amongst the young athletes.
• BFPNG in conjunction with the Cancer Foundation will use the Championships as an opportunity to promote cancer awareness and education amongst the young athletes who can then continue the awareness in their homes and communities.
