MIES, Switzerland - The World Association of Basketball Coaches (WABC), in association with FIBA, have released a new and improved "Coaches Manual" which is to be made available to all basketball coaches around the world free of charge.

The release of the book marks the starting point in a complete review of the coaching education and development resources currently in place around the world. The next step in this process will see the launch in the near future of a new WABC online platform that will centralise all resources and information.

It offers them information and techniques to not only enhance players' skills and understanding but also to assist shape players' character and teach values that lead to success in life and our wonderful global game. FIBA and the WABC remain committed to developing and supporting coaches and we are pleased this resource will reinforce that commitment and resolve."
