"The partnership between SNBA and Basketball Victoria through the Marty Handson Coaching Scholarship will be beneficial to both organizations. The opportunity to learn is massive and hopefully it will create for more possibilities for future collaborations," she said.

The Australian native is grateful for the opportunity and hopes that this experience will lead to bigger things in his future.

"The last 5-6 years I've dedicated myself to travel to all the Basketball Victoria events, camps, training sessions and tournaments to learn and be better at coaching. I think my commitment to better myself is why I got this scholarship," he proudly stated.

"I am very grateful to FIBA and Basketball Victoria for this opportunity and I hope that it helps me in my coaching career," he ended.
