    ISTANBUL (FIBA World Championship for Women) - Maya Moore was rewarded for her impressive play at the 2014 FIBA World Championship for Women and an all-around performance in Sunday's Final by receiving the Most Valuable Player awarded, presented by Tissot.

    Moore had 18 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists and a steal as the USA beat Spain 77-64 in the title game to successfully defend their crown as world champions.

    The 25-year-old headlined the All-Star Five which also included the Spanish pair of Alba Torrens and Sancho Lyttle, Australia's Penny Taylor and Moore's USA team-mate Brittney Griner.
