FIBA European Youth Championships 2018 Draws completed

FREISING (FIBA European Youth Championships 2018) - A total of 257 teams have learned who they will play this summer, across 16 European youth championships.

The Draws for the 16 championships took place in the southern German city of Freising on Tuesday afternoon, with representatives from a number of FIBA Europe's 50 national member federations in attendance.

The European summer of youth basketball tips off in Serravalle, San Marino and Chisinau, Moldova on July 3, when the nations host the FIBA U16 European Championships, Division C, for Men and Women respectively.  

The summer will then conclude on August 25 when action wraps up in Kaunas, Lithuania at the FIBA U16 Women's European Championship and in Podgorica, Montenegro, which is hosting Division B of the same event.

In addition to the European youth summer, the continent will also be represented at the FIBA U17 Basketball World Cup in Argentina from June 30 to July 8; and in Minsk, Belarus from July 21 to 29 at the FIBA U17 Women's Basketball World Cup.
