FIBA 3x3 World Tour Spots at stake at Super Leagues and Super Quests
MIES (Switzerland) - The upcoming FIBA 3x3 season is about to be electric, but the action is well underway with numerous Super Leagues and Super Quests taking place around the World.
MIES (Switzerland) - The upcoming FIBA 3x3 season is about to be electric, but the action is well underway with numerous Super Leagues and Super Quests taking place around the World. The competitions not only mark the precursor of an enthralling pro season ahead, but also are a pathway to the leading events of the season with Masters and Challengers.
Japan’s 3x3.EXE Super Premier Pro League tipped off on January 13, being the first stop in a three-leg extravaganza before the Final. Twelve teams have competed in the initial phase of the league for a shot at the Ulaanbaatar Masters later in the season along with opportunities to compete in Challenger events at Hongcheon, Zhijiang, Penang and Baoding. The first two stops took place in Sendai City, Japan and Bangkok, Thailand respectively.

It’s been the Tomoya Ochiai-led Alphas.EXE who have come out on top both times, putting them on pole position to grab the coveted Masters spot with Lausanne (SUI) and Toronto Patriots (CAN) trailing behind.

Over in France, the Pro League 3x3 Hoops Factory had its first of three legs take place on February 10 with both Men’s and Women’s 3x3 action taking place. A shot at the Marseille Masters along with spots at the Challengers in Clermont-Ferrand, Orleans and Fribourg at stake, some of the best 3x3 talent in the pro circuit took to the court.

It was the Worthy De Jong-led Amsterdam Stolen side that emerged victorious in the first leg at Mons-En-Baroeul, France. Home side Paris #2 led by Franck Seguela took home the top spot in the second leg.

More to come though with the China Dragon 3x3 Super League taking place between March 2 and April 14. Spain is yet another spot for Pro League action as well where teams battle it out for a spot at the Marseille Masters. The final goes down on March 31.
The quick-hit Super Quests take us back to Lausanne and Ulaanbaatar this season, going down on April 4-5 and April 20-2. Action-packed as ever, premier sides in 3x3 will battle it out to compete at the Chengdu and Ulaanbaatar Masters respectively.
The 3x3 season promises to be more entertaining than ever, and the road to the World Tour is already in action.
