Everything you need to know before FIBA 3x3 World Tour Abu Dhabi Final 2022

ABU DHABI (UAE) - This insane FIBA 3x3 World Tour 2022 season comes down to the showpiece Abu Dhabi Final with the best teams and players in the world ready to put on a show.

Where can I watch the Abu Dhabi Final?

Who are the favorites?

Unsurprisingly, all 12 teams can realistically win the biggest event on the World Tour calendar. But we're not going to chicken out of the question.

Ub Huishan NE (SRB) and Riga (LAT) deserve favoritism having each dominated large chunks of the season. The Serbs won the first four Masters of the season, but a reloaded Riga got the band back together to win three Masters.

Both teams have dynamic duos and chemistry that would make Walter White blush to deservedly have the status of teams to beat. It would not be a surprise to see them in the final in a re-match of the epic decider in Riyadh

But there are other major challengers. Liman (SRB) may be written off by their peers but the defending World Tour Final champs often lift a level with their backs to the wall.

Antwerp (BEL), Vienna (AUT) and Sakiai Gulbele have also tasted Masters glory this season and they want to experience that winning feeling again.

We should probably wrap up here otherwise we're going to have to name every team!

Who are the best players?

We have the best in the business in Abu Dhabi and it's only fair to start at the top of the rankings because Strahinja Stojacic has been No.1 all season long.

'Doctor Strange' has been more like Doctor Success for some time but he'll need to be at his best to fend off challengers for his title.

His biggest rival for the crown might just be Riga's superheroes Karlis Lasmanis and Nauris Miezis, who are so unstoppable that they should really start their own Marvel franchise.

Speaking of box office hits, Thibaut Vervoort is 'Must See TV' and it's easy to see why because this blonde Belgian makes scoring look so easy. He's not the only walking bucket with Stefan Stojacic and Dimeo van der Horst flat out scoring machines that no defensive scheme can stop.

There are enough assassins capable of auditioning to be the next James Bond. Steve Sir, Marijus Uzupis, Arvin Slagter and Stefan Kojic can shoot twos like they are free throws as they battle for the crown of best sniper.

There are human highlight reels waiting to melt down social media. You just know Worthy de Jong, Malik Hluchoweckyj and Gilles Martin will do something trippy with the Wilson.

While the big fellas will be fighting to make the paint their personal playground. Mihailo Vasic, Kareem Maddox and Filip Kramer will be vying for the mantle of strongest dude in 3x3.

Rest assured, the stars of 3x3 will be putting everything on the line in the last event for 2022.
