Dr. Dish adds 3x3 Shoot-Out Contest to its FIBA Approved Product

MIES (Switzerland) - Dr. Dish Basketball, a provider of high repetition basketball shooting machines, has announced that their new product will include a competition mode based on the FIBA 3x3 Shoot-Out Contest.

Dr. Dish is an Endorsed Equipment partner in the FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre and part of the Endorsement program, which was introduced to stimulate innovation and promote new solutions and technology to the basketball industry.

The Dr. Dish challenge mirrors the FIBA 3x3 Shoot-Out Contest, where a player shoots a series of shots within a certain time frame. Users of Dr. Dish can now compete 'head to head' in the exact same 3x3 competition format as their favorite FIBA 3x3 star.

"The Shoot-Out Contests have been a fan favorite event on the FIBA 3x3 World Tour since 2012," FIBA 3x3 Managing Director Alex Sanchez said. "We're excited to hear that Dr. Dish has created this fun challenge according to the FIBA 3x3 rules."

"At Dr. Dish, we're always trying to create exciting new training content that will be popular with our audience," said Will Schultz, Manager, Global Business Development and Marketing at Dr. Dish Basketball.

"There are very few events in the game as exciting as the 3x3 Shoot-Out Contest, and very few areas of the are sport growing in popularity as much as 3x3. We wanted to capture that energy and share it with our community through this Dr. Dish Challenge."

The Equipment & Venue Centre encourages collaboration with and between its partners to establish synergies and develop new solutions or content for the basketball community. To find out more about FIBA's Equipment & Venue Centre, click here.
