MIES/HELMOND - FIBA, the International Basketball Federation, and Schelde Sports B.V., have signed a new partnership agreement that makes Schelde Sports B.V. an Official Technical Supplier of FIBA for the period of 2013-2014.

Under the terms of agreement, Schelde Sports B.V. will supply specifically-designed portable Super Sam 325 backstop units to each of the six host cities of the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain.

Schelde Sports are known for their expertise in creating high quality, championship-level backstop units and this partnership allows FIBA to take the brand identity of the FIBA Basketball World Cup to a new level by creating consistent, uniquely-branded backstop units of the highest quality across multiple venues.

Schelde Sports B.V. has been a FIBA Equipment & Venue Centre Partner since its inception in 1993 and is the official portable backstop unit of the FIBA 3x3 World Tour and World Championships.
