    France through to Final Phase; Poland set for elimination game

    HELSINKI (EuroBasket 2017) - France booked a ticket to Istanbul with a comeback victory over Poland, who now face an elimination game against Greece.

    HELSINKI (EuroBasket 2017) - France booked a place in the Final Phase with a comeback 78-75 victory over Poland, who are now dangerously placed at 1-3.

    After trailing by 12 points midway in the third, France clicked into gear after that with Thomas Heurtel leading the way with 23 points, while Adam Waczyknski scored 15 for Poland. France plays Slovenia on Wednesday to determine who finishes top of Group A. 

    Poland were without guard AJ Slaughter, who suffered an injury against Finland, but he is expected to line up in their must-win game against Greece.
