    Finland through to Final Phase; Greece to meet Poland in knockout game

    HELSINKI (EuroBasket 2017) - Finland secured a berth to the Final Phase after defeating Greece, who now face Poland in a knockout game on Wednesday.

    HELSINKI (EuroBasket 2017) - Finland secured a berth into the Final Phase after overcoming Greece with an 89-77 victory. Greece will now play a knockout game against Poland on Wednesday.

    Finland led comfortably throughout until Greece staged a late fightback to get within four points in the last quarter. However, Finland steadied and were led by Petteri Koponen, who starred with 24 points, while Lauri Markkanen again stepped up in the clutch to finish with 17 points. He also had a couple of eye-popping dunks.

    Thanasis Antetokounmpo tried hard for Greece with 17 points.
