MUNICH (Germany) - The second week of the FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season saw plenty of drama as well as incredible offensive displays.
An early season-high in points as well as a single-game rebounding record, it's time for you to vote for your Player of the Week in the poll below.
Jay Jay Chandler was arguably the standout performer as he led KB Peja to their first win of the campaign in some style as he was simply unstoppable in their 99-84 win over Heroes Den Bosch. Not only did he amass a game-high 30 points on 10-for-17 shooting, but Chandler narrowly missed out on a coveted triple-double with 9 rebounds and 8 assists for an efficiency rating of 37.
That rating was matched by Willey Cauley-Stein after the former NBA big man broke the single-game record for rebounds. However, despite his incredible haul of 20 rebounds to go with 18 points, Itelyum Varese lost 91-79 at home to BG Gottingen.
Nike Sibande wasn't far behind as he poured in a best of 36 points, including going 5-for-9 from three-point land for Kataja Basket against CSM CSU Oradea. His haul got a 33 efficiency rating, but it wasn't enough as his side lost 87-73 and dropped to 0-2.
Meanwhile, Thomas Bell put up a double-double for ERA Nymburk as they beat KK Mornar-Barsko Zlato 78-62 with 17 points and 10 rebounds leading the Czech side to a 2-0 mark in Group D.
Jerry Boutsiele also put up a double-double as he was the catalyst in Bahcesehir College's first win at the second attempt. Going 9-for-15 from the field for a rating of 27, the French center scored 23 points and pulled down 10 rebounds in the 83-65 win over Sabah BC in Baku.
