MUNICH (Germany) - There were some phenomenal individual FIBA Europe Cup displays in 2023, with five performances in contention to be voted as the best of the calendar year.

All of the candidates have come from the current season and you can cast your vote below to let us know who you think did it best.

But first, here's a closer look at those five standout showings to help make up your mind.

    OLIVIER HANLAN (Itelyum Varese)

    Statistics:
    29 PTS, 10  AST, 7 REB, 3 STL - 42 EFF
    Game:
BG Gottingen 104-109 Itelyum Varese (FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season 2023-24)

Olivier Hanlan was a man possessed, as he shot 56.2 percent from the field and went a perfect 10-of-10 from the foul line for his 29 points. The guard also dished out 10 assists, pulled down 7 rebounds and got the highest efficiency rating of the year at 42 to help Varese held off Gottingen after overtime in Germany.

    TAVEION HOLLINGSWORTH (Petrolina AEK)

    Statistics: 25 PTS, 13 REB, 4 AST, 3 STL - 39 EFF
    Game:
Petrolina AEK 78-76 Rostock Seawolves (FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season 2023-24)

Taveion Hollingsworth wasted no time in making a statement in the current 2023-24 season as his 25-point, 13-rebound double-double helped Petrolina AEK to a narrow victory over Rostock Seawolves on Gameday 1. The American also added 4 assists and 3 steals in a sublime display.

    RON CURRY (Sporting CP)

    Statistics: 27 PTS, 10 REB, 5 AST, 3 STL - 38 EFF
    Game:
Arconic-Alba Fehervar 106-102 Sporting CP (FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season 2023-24)

The second individual masterclass in a game that went to overtime, but despite Ron Curry posting a strong double-double of 27 points and 10 rebounds to go with 5 assists and 3 steals, his Sporting CP side came up agonisingly short against Hungarian side Arconic-Alba Fehervar.

    WILLIE CAULEY-STEIN (Itelyum Varese)

    Statistics: 18 PTS, 8-11 FG, 20 REB, 4 AST - 37 EFF
    Game:
Itelyum Varese 79-91 BG Gottingen (FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season 2023-24)

The second Varese player to feature in this list is Willie Cauley-Stein. However, unlike Hanlan's herculean effort against BG Gottingen, Cauley-Stein's mammoth 18-point, 20-rebound effort against the the German side came up short as his side lost on Gameday 2.

His effort of 20 boards set the competition's single-game record before it was broken by Travis Taylor a few weeks later.

    PAKO CRUZ (Manisa BBSK)

    Statistics: 31 PTS, 10 AST, 4 REB - 37 EFF
    Game
: Norrkoping Dolphins 77-90 Manisa BBSK (FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season 2023-24)

Pako Cruz was electrifying as he went 5-of-8 from three-point range in his 31-point haul for Manisa BBSK against Norrkoping. The Mexican guard also gave out assists like candy on the night as he dished out 10 dimes for the win on the road.
