Semi-Finals First Leg Top Performers: Lansdowne, Bouteille, Spencer, Killeya-Jones, Moretti

MUNICH (Germany) – With a place in the FIBA Europe Cup Finals at stake, the remaining four teams showcased their unwavering determination, with each player giving their all in the battle for the tournament showpiece.

As usual, we have picked out the top five leading displays, and now you can have your say by choosing your top performer from the first legs of the Semi-Finals with the vote below.

NINERS Chemnitz, led by the evergreen DeAndre Lansdowne, recovered from a slow first quarter to put one foot into the Finals with a big 98-73 win on the road to Surne Bilbao Basket. Lansdowne's performance was nothing short of brilliance, as he dazzled with 22 points on 77 percent shooting, 3 assists, and 3 steals for an efficiency rating of 27.

Conversely, Itelyum Varese still has work to do and will likely have to do what no other team has done this season—beat Bahcesehir College on their home floor. David Morretti certainly helped their cause in an 81-80 win, pouring in 17 points, 6 assists, and a steal for a rating of 18.

Moretti was supported well by his Varese teammate Skylar Spencer, who enjoyed a stellar performance of 10 points, 7 rebounds and 3 blocks for a rating of 20.

Despite a one-point loss, Bahcesehir College heads to the second leg full of confidence. They can thank Axel Bouteille in part for his 23 points, four three-pointers, and five rebounds, which earned him the second-highest efficiency rating of the first leg, with 24.

Sacha Killeya-Jones was the hero in the Quarter-Final second leg as Surne Bilbao Basket overturned a record-breaking 18-point deficit to beat Legia Warszawa. He and the Spanish side will need to smash that feat again, but his 15 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks against NINERS were the main standout on an otherwise forgettable night.
