It was the 'Cleveland Show' in Porto as Cleveland Melvin poured in 27 points and pulled down 7 rebounds for an efficiency rating of 27 to finally break Bahcesehir College's 11-game winning run, helping FC Porto to a 90-80 win in their Quarter-Finals opener.
Another show that was in full swing was NINERS Chemnitz's 98-64 hammering of Casademont Zaragoza in Spain in their First Leg. The man at the heart of it all was Kaza Kajami-Keane, with the Canadian guard leading a balanced scoring effort for the German side with 15 points along with 6 rebounds and 6 assists for a rating of 22.
Hugo Besson impressed for his new side as the French guard helped Itelyum Varese cruise on the road with 16 points and 6 assists in their 80-65 win at ERA Nymburk to take control of the tie.
One team that found comfort at home was Legia Warszawa as Aric Holman connected on all four of his three-point attempts for 16 points. He also dished out 3 assists and swatted away 2 shots to lead the Polish side to a commanding 83-64 success over Surne Bilbao Basket.
Despite ending up on the losing side, Jerry Boutsiele rounds out the lineup for Bahcesehir College as they came up short in the final four minutes against Porto. Boutsiele was one rebound shy of a double-double, posting 15 points and 9 rebounds, as they will look to bounce back on home soil.
