Teams drawn for FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season and Qualifying Tournaments

MUNICH (Germany) - The 2022-23 edition of the FIBA Europe Cup continues to take shape, with the registered teams sorted into Regular Season groups and Qualifiers Tournaments in Thursday's draw.

The 32-team Regular Season will be played in eight groups of four teams each, with 10 clubs receiving direct berths in the Group Phase alongside up to 18 teams that will not advance to the Basketball Champions League from the Qualifiers Tournaments.

Meanwhile, the remaining places in the Regular Season will be decided in four FIBA Europe Cup Qualifiers Tournaments, featuring 22 clubs and set to take place from September 27-30, 2022.

The results for the Qualifiers Tournaments draw are as follows:

The winners of the four Qualifiers Tournaments will earn Regular Season berths.

Any additional spots in the Regular Season that might open up after the completion of the BCL Qualification Tournaments will be taken up by the losing teams in the Finals of the FIBA Europe Cup Qualifying Tournaments, according to the criteria in Section D of the Official Basketball Rules­.

The FIBA Europe Cup Regular Season is set to begin on October 12, 2022.
